Thanks to our hi-tech machinery, we are able to best treat every batch of seeds in order to attain the highest degree of physical purity possible. A few years ago, we also began processing and packaging seeds for other important seed companies that depend on our plant, not only of production but also for the improvement of the physical quality of seeds and sometimes directly for packaging.

Pill

The best varieties have always been treated in a special way in order to obtain seeds that can be conserved for a long time and, above all, are easy to use. Lettuces, chicory, tomatoes, but also kale, onions and carrots are now almost exclusively provided in FuriaPill form, an involucre that enables optimisation of sowing and prevents any waste of seeds.

Multipill

Parsley, basil, and garden rocket are provided in Multipill form, a special lump that enables sowing directly in alveolar racks. Its primary purpose is to save time and, last but not least, the PRIMING TREATMENT ensures uniform sowing.

Calibration

Batches of seeds are calibrated by size/dimension in order to prevent any discrepancy in germination and enable better sowing. The different sizes of seeds, if compliant, are divided and commercialised in different batches.

Colouring

In order to more easily identify each variety, batches of bare seeds are coloured and covered with a special film that, in addition to protecting the seed, gives it s “sowability” similar to pilling.

Treatment

Seeds can always be treated with authorised products for the purpose of protecting seeds against insects.

Packaging

Each batch can be automatically packaged in a series of minuscule packages weighing 1 gram, up to 500 kg in the economic big bags. Other tin packages in use are:

Aluminium sachet: 50gr/100gr
Easy open tin: 100gr/200gr/454gr/500 gr
Aluminium bag: 1 Kg / 2 Kg
Polyurethane bag: 5 Kg / 25 Kg

Each package can be accompanied by a photograph of choice that shows the variety. Every subject can be chosen by the client in advance from the over 3,000 photos in our photo gallery. Labelling, which is in conformity with strict European regulations, are fully customizable to meet the needs of different countries worldwide.
