very good variety with bulky head of curly leaves, broad and with serrated edges. Slow to run to seed. Commonly grown by amateurs and market gardeners. Slow running to seed gives this variety a long harvesting season, from when plants are small throught to maximum size of the yellowish-white head, reaching 15 cm in height and 25 cm width.

To sow in open field from April to November.
