Variey of "batavia" for the spring/autumn growing cycle, with good resistance to winter cold and bolting in summer. Vigorous, rustic plant producing very large heads, tightly closed and bright red at the tip. Thick and very crispy leaves, can also be harvest at an early stage of growth.
